Cookie Policy
This policy explains the cookies and similar technologies that may be used when you visit the site.
1. What these technologies are
Cookies are small text files that a website or service provider stores in a browser. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, pixels, and identifiers used to operate, secure, or understand a service.
2. Technologies used on this site
The site does not currently set advertising cookies or use analytics cookies. It does not use cookies to build advertising profiles or track visitors across unrelated websites.
Strictly necessary technologies may be used by the site’s hosting, security, or authentication infrastructure to deliver pages, maintain a secure session, prevent abuse, balance traffic, or remember an authentication state. These technologies are used only where needed to provide the service and are not used for targeted advertising.
3. Current categories
| Category | Purpose | Status |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Security, authentication, request routing, and core site delivery. | May be used when required by the service. |
| Preferences | Remember optional visitor choices. | Not currently used by the site. |
| Analytics | Measure visits and usage patterns. | Not currently used by the site. |
| Advertising | Personalize or measure advertising across services. | Not currently used by the site. |
4. Other technical data
The intake endpoint creates a one-way identifier from an IP address and browser user-agent for rate limiting. This identifier is stored in the service database for no more than two days. It is not a browser cookie and is not used for advertising or analytics.
The site requests font files from Google Fonts. As with other web requests, the font provider may receive technical request information such as an IP address and browser details. Its handling of that information is governed by its own notices.
5. Browser controls
Most browsers let you view, block, or delete cookies through their privacy settings. Blocking strictly necessary technologies may prevent authentication or parts of the site from working correctly.
6. Changes and contact
If optional analytics, preference, or advertising technologies are introduced, this policy and any legally required consent controls will be updated before they are used.
Questions may be sent to info@legaltoolworks.com. For more information about personal data, see the Privacy Policy.
